What every quote includes

Every job gets the same written quote, whether it needs one new outlet or a whole new panel, so you can hold it up against anyone else's.

  • A look at the whole circuit, not just the outlet you noticed
  • A load calculation before any panel or charger work
  • Parts, labor, wall openings and the permit, each priced on its own line
  • Repair and upgrade side by side when either would do
  • The inspection booked and passed before the job is closed

  • 5 out of 5 stars

Half the house lost power on a Saturday. They walked me through checking the panel on the phone and had an electrician here that afternoon to replace a burned connection.

  • 5 out of 5 stars

We were told we needed a whole new panel for our EV charger. These folks did a load calculation first and found room for the circuit in the panel we had.
Marcus T., Virginia BeachOctober 2026. Sample review
  • 5 out of 5 stars

The written estimate listed the panel, the permit and the labor on their own lines, and the final bill matched it to the dollar. The inspection passed the first time.

They put in a transfer switch for our portable generator and showed us how to use it. Clean work, and they took every scrap of wire with them.

The lights dimmed every time the air conditioner kicked on. They found a loose neutral at the panel and fixed it in one visit, and told me it was not the air conditioner's fault.

From your call to the lights back on

  1. Book a free estimate

Call, text or use the form. Tell us what the lights or the panel are doing and we give you a time. When the power is out or something smells hot, the call goes to the front of the list.

  2. We find the cause

The electrician checks the whole circuit, not just the outlet you noticed, and tells you what failed in plain words. For planned work, the load calculation comes first.

  3. Get a written price

You get the price of the work in writing before any of it starts. If an upgrade makes more sense than a repair, you see both prices on one page and decide for yourself.

  4. We fix it and test it

We do the work, pull the permit with the city when it needs one, test every circuit we touched and show you it's working before we leave.

Straight answers

The questions we hear most on the phone. Anything else, ask us at your free estimate.

  • Is the estimate really free?

Yes. The visit and the written estimate for planned work, such as a panel upgrade, an EV charger, a generator or a rewire, are free. Emergency and after-hours repair calls have a call-out rate, and we tell you what it is before you book.

  • Which towns do you cover?

Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Chesapeake, plus the nearby parts of Portsmouth and Suffolk. If you are not sure your street is in range, put the address in the form and we confirm before booking.

  • Why does my breaker keep tripping?

A breaker trips to protect the wiring. It can mean too many things on one circuit, a worn appliance or a fault in the wiring itself. If it trips again right after you reset it, leave it off and call us.

  • Do I need a permit, and who pulls it?

Most work beyond swapping a fixture or an outlet needs one, such as a panel upgrade, a new circuit, an EV charger or a generator. Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Chesapeake each run their own permit office, and we file with whichever one covers your address.

  • Do I need a new panel for an EV charger?

Not always. A load calculation shows whether your panel has room for a dedicated charger circuit. Many houses do, and some need a larger panel first. You get the answer and the price before anything is bought.

  • Do you offer financing on a panel upgrade or a generator?

Yes. Ask about monthly payment options when we give you your written quote.
